6.1.8 Mitigation Process.
Mitigation is a process of implementing action (s) or defense (s) to reduce or eliminate risk/impact. The following are the scope for consideration.
6.1.8.1 Existing control against such risk/impact.
6.1.8.2 Control being function as intended.
6.1.8.3 Control being practical under actual process condition.
6.1.8.4 Awareness of the employee on risk/impact and control.
6.1.8.5 Risk/impact exceeds the benefits of continuing the operation.
6.1.8.6 Isolate the effect of risk/impact.
