It floors me that the author speaks of pregnancy and HIV statistics as facts with no evidence or reference whatsoever (not that I'm saying they are false), yet fails to get one simple fact from the series itself right. They are no tomboys in "Hormones" at all. This makes me wonder if she's really been watching the series before writing this opinion piece.
Despite being more progressive than the usual soaps, the ending is still very Thai though: no matter what problems you have been through, everything can be (and is) resolved through the love and understanding of the family. I wish it had stayed bold throughout and offered some possible alternative solutions.
