In the past, the facilities in Phuket,has not developed like nowadays. It didn’t have road or it’s too difficult for traveling to the destination. But in this times today, Phuket can be attracted tourists from domestic and international including it has a variety of cultures which Muslim cultures has an influenced from the south of Thailand that closes to Malaysia or Buddhism culture which has an influenced from nakorn sithammarat province. When tourists from another region or country, come to travel in Phuket, it can be exchange culture between their cultures and Phuket culture. In this case, it could be both advantages and disadvantages for local population in Phuket. As in the advantage side, it will stimulate people in Phuket to have high education, language skills and technological advance. But in the side of disadvantage, it could be made Phuket’s culture less identity itself or declining because it was blend with the culture from tourists who come from another region and the maintaining culture that they already have. Causing of Phuket is closes to the ocean, so the local people around there has an occupation as fisherman and local people can provide the activities which can be related with the beach for example speed boats, ferries that took tourists visit many islands to see the scenic of beachside and tourists could be scuba-diving or snorkeling to see the beautiful coral under the beaches. Including, in Phuket has a mountainous side so tourists can do some activities like hiking, trekking or climbing. All of these activities has been generated more income to their local people in there and made the economics of tourism in Phuket which represented as the part of Thailand growing up.
