Lead PPM team for the sector facing

Lead PPM team for the sector facing Procurement organization within a region - provide coaching and developmental support to team members while balancing resources and addressing issues and barriers. Accountable for successful completion of Procurement projects within responsible plants.
Work cross functionally to align PPM resources to support execution of projects to maximize impact to plant(s).
Accountable for understanding and representing Procurement projects, including cost and benefits, across all commodities with Sector leadership. Responsible for aligning PPM and functional resources to maximizing Procurement benefits for Sector.
Accountable for team’s utilization of standard work including project tracking and documentation. Actively engaged with team members to eliminate roadblocks and escalate issues appropriately.
Accountable for documenting and communicating all significant project changes to Procurement and Sector leadership teams.
Responsible for sector Procurement goals and metrics within region including addressing any gaps in achieving goals. Balance overall sector metrics with individual plant scorecards.
Responsible for accurate forecasting and reporting of Procurement financial metrics, including productivity and inflation, across sector within region.
Responsible for providing data including projects, results, targets, and initiatives for Procurement's portion of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for sector/region. Responsible for partnering with Finance to complete standard setting process for sector/region.
Ensure alignment of commodity strategies with sector and plant strategies and requirements. Responsible for sharing plant and sector specific strategies with commodity teams. Partner with commodity teams to ensure plant and sector regional leadership understanding commodity strategies.
Lead prioritization of Procurement continuous improvement sessions at individual plants. Accountable for engaging commodity teams to support project ideas and pipeline to ensure sector exceeds targets.
Responsible for Procurement participation in plant or product Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) or Major Model Review (MMR) events. Work with functional leaders to determine appropriate Procurement resources, both PPM and commodity, to support event.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

BA/BS/ME degree in business or engineering with a minimum of 3-5 year¡¦s of project management experience.
5 to 10 years experience
A minimum of 6 years of experience working in a diversified industrial company in the areas of Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Finance and/or Operations.
Strong Analytic experience
Working knowledge of six sigma tools, lean manufacturing a plus.
Experience in International sourcing experience a plus.
Experience in supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality a plus. Must be a strategic thinker and have demonstrated experience driving strategies
Microsoft Project Expertise
Experience running large complex cross functional projects
Global project management experience a plus
Oracle experience in a global environment is beneficial
Ability to travel up to 20%
