he insecticidal activities of the 91 bacterial and fungal isolates were tested using A. goss- ypii. A total of 86 isolates displayed some insecticidal activity towards the aphid, while only 5 isolates (GA, PF-2, 2N153, 2N185, and 2P118) had high activity toward the aphid (Table 1). Seventy-five isolates caused aphid mortality rates of 60% or more, and 10 iso- lates caused aphid mortality rates of 40% or less.
