Lactobacillus acidophilus culture (100 μL) was inoculated onto the
dry surface of MRS agar plates. Four disks with different concentration
were placed on the Petri plates and incubated anaerobically at 37 °C
for 48 h. After incubation period, the diameter of inhibition (no
growth) or stimulation (growth) zones, around the disk in the
bacterial lawn was measured using a ruler with an accuracy of
0.5 mm. In the same incubation conditions, MRS agar plates
inoculated with L. acidophilus culture without sample were used as
positive control and non-inoculated media were used as negative
