3. Results
In this section we present both the results obtained from the
self-reported questionnaire av-Mymop, applied at the beginning
and at the end of the programe, as well as the thematic analysis that
emerged from seven categories of narratives.
3.1. Results of the av-Mymop
The program was completed by 18 participants who declared
having some type of symptom the week before the application of
the questionnaire, with an average result of 3.44 points of a sevenpoint
scale (0e6), where 0 is the score of a lower and 6 the score of
a higher discomfort.
After three months of duration, this average result stemming
from the main symptom was 2.32 points. In other words, the
practitioners felt less discomfort related to the main symptom. Of
the 18 participants, four declared feeling worse, one had no alterations,
and 13 declared an improvement related to a specific
symptom (Table 1).
As regards the item well-being, the practitioners’ average selfreported
results from the questionnaire scored 2.66 in moment
one and 1.88 in moment two. Five participants declared feeling
worse, three showed no alteration and 10 declared feeling better.
The results of well-being are presented in Table 2.
The av-Mymop allows for the calculation of the participants’
profiles, which are the average results of the main symptoms and
well-being. The average profile scored 3.05 in moment one and 2.13
in moment two. In the end four participants declared feeling worse,
and 14 declared feeling better. The results of the profiles are presented
in Table 3.
The Test T was applied to the results of the av-Mymop profiles at
the beginning and end of the program and are presented in Table 4.
It is clear that there was a general improvement of the participants
