using Chemifold I and II flowdistribution units from
the same producer, containing capillary tubes and
helices of the internal diameter of 0.5 mm for connect
ing the injector and the detector flow cell. The volume
of the injector dosing loop was varied in the range of
30–500 μL.
To implement the method of SIA, a FIAlab3000
computerized setup (FIAlab Instruments, United
States) was used, equipped with a plunger pump
2.5 mL in volume and a Cheminert multiposition
injection valve (Valco Instrument, United States),
coupled with an Ocean Optics USB2000 fiberoptic
detector (Ocean Optics, United States) with a flow
through cuvette of Zdesign (Avantes, United States)
and an LS1 radiation source (Ocean Optics, United
States).
To record the electronic absorption spectra of solu
tions, we used a JENWAY 6705 spectrophotometer
(Bibby Scientific) with a quartz cuvette (l = 10 mm).
The pH of solutions was measured using an OP110
pH meter (Radelkis, Hungary) with an accuracy of
±0.01 pH units.
