Compared with palm oil, which has reddish color due to the high content of carotenoids (38.5 _g/g) (Szydłowska-Czerniak et al.,2011), the pulp oil is an excellent source of these compounds; in other words, it has quality nutrition because of vitamin A activity, and technological quality, for the antioxidant activity provided by these pigments. Although the content in the seed oil was smaller, it is still a good source of these pigments.
