Students at Stamford International University are required to maintain a cumulative (overall) GPA of 1.75 to be in good academic standing. When a student’s cumulative GPA falls between 1.50-1.74, he/she is placed on Academic Probation, or first warning. After a review of your term 1/2015 grades, you have been placed on Academic Probation (first warning).
Students placed on Academic Probation have two semesters to raise their cumulative GPA to at least 1.75. If a student on Academic Probation does not raise his/her cumulative GPA to at least 1.75 at the end of the probationary semester, his/her student status will be revoked.
Therefore, you have been assigned an Academic Advisor who is here to offer assistance to ensure that you can get back on the right track. You ARE REQUIRED to meet with your advisor by December 25, 2015. During this appointment, your advisor will further explain your academic standing, discuss the requirements of the Student Academic.
