My review of Rikka Inn is honest, so please put it on your site. Other reviews also fail to paint RI in a positive light, so I am not alone in my feelings.
When checking out 12 hours early (Oct 22nd), I owed them a bit more money for water in my room, but I just had enough money to get to the airport, and I did not want to split that, nor did I want to draw more money from an ATM. Other people saw me get angry at their meanness over the water. I 30 bht coins on the reception and proceeded to walk out.
Their security guard stopped me leaving the building at 12.10am, and threatened me with the police if I did not pay a further 30 baht! Although I was scared and alone, I argued that missing my first night's stay at Rikka more than compensated for a lousy 30 bht (not to mention no breakfast and no room service during my short stay), but he dismissed this as being my problem. I found another 20 bht in my bag, and kindly gave this to him. I was then released with 10 bht owing....how grandiose of them! This response to a lone woman was excessive. This has never happened to me anywhere else in the world.
