My Thoughts on Jessica’s departure from Girls’ Generation:
jungsisxaesthetic jigglyeri(hi????? ur like the only ppl I know who agrees with me on some points so i’m tagging you sorry)
I was a sone since i was 11 years old, I can really say I grew up adoring these girls. They were so lively, so genuine, they really were the highlight of my day So i can understand why some sones of years find it hard to relive that ot9 weren’t as close as they told us they were. Through out the past 3 years, it became obvious that Taeyeon and Jessica were at odds. While Jessica made countless efforts to “hide” their difference or be professional about it, Taeyeon was blatantly ignoring her. I think most sones can recall the infamous “peas incident”- in case you never watched it you can watch it for yourself here. Even though I was a die hard Sooyoungster, I literally saw the pain and humiliation on Jessica’s face as both Taeyeon and Tiffany brushed her off in front of the entire audience, while Jessica was trying to engage with them. My stomach stills turns watching that video.. Nonetheless, the yeas passed by and I stayed a sone because I felt that even though TaeNy did not treat Jess well, atleast Hyo, Yuri, Sooyoung,and Yoona, her closest of friends would have her back right? Surprisingly even they began to distance themselves from her. I don’t care if they didn’t bully her, but they are equally as guilty as TaeNy because they stood by doing nothing to help her. I wuickly moved on from Jessica’s issues because I trusted that my bias would stand by her. Flash forward to 9/30 , all we know from what Jessica’s post is that the other members were some how involved in kicking her out. No it’s not “throwing the girls under the bus,” - can you imagine the betrayal and pain Jess felt when that happened? As one of the members who trained the longest, she grew close to them- as her friends and as sisters. Of course in the heat of the moment Jessica was gonna talk and express how wronged she felt. Jessica wanted one more comeback with them, to end that period of her life beautifully. Now for all the people who say “ the only reason why Jessica speaks fondly of them now is because she wants people to stop thinking shes a bitch and start buying from her brand again” Despite what the other members did to her, they were still Jessica’s closest friends at the time, so after that moment of fire- when she was able to calm down- they were still the people she grew up, how can she stay angry ? Of course she disappointed, but she’s not as angry because of the time passed. So yeah maybe I’m a salty bitch and maybe I’m but hurt and maybe I’m reading things way to much I don’t care I know that Jessica was wronged by not only SM but SNSD including all the members. I bet half of you didn’t even read the whole thing but I’m just gonna get this off my chest
