Yes, you must use password authentication for incoming and outgoing mail. Make sure to use the password for your specific email address, not your entire GDI account (if different).
Do you support secure connections?
Yes; in fact, we require encrypted connections (SSL/TLS or STARTTLS) for outgoing mail. You may also use SSL/TLS or STARTTLS for incoming mail.
Do you support alternate ports in cases where my internet service provider blocks the standard outgoing (SMTP) email port?
Yes. Please try port 465 or 587 if your ISP is blocking port 25 for outgoing email.
