5 participants (29%) did not notice the cipher text during the task. Most of these participants did not complete the previous
tasks that were needed for cipher text to appear in this task. Another 5 participants (29%) said that they understood the
significance of the cipher text and it did not bother them. The remaining 7 participants (42%) who saw the cipher text had
mixed reactions. One of the side effects of sending text that contains a valid URL is that Facebook converts them into links
so that they are clickable. The ciphertext package contains a URL to the key server that provided keys to encrypt the
message. Because of the link in the standard greeting, some participants, when they saw this new link in the cipher text,
assumed they were supposed to click on it, which took them to an error page.
