In a first empirical step thewording of the itemswas tested. A group
of 28 female and 25 male conveniently chosen students from one
university college in Norway scrutinised the wording of the self report
items and found some items unclear. Four unclear items were deleted
and three rewritten. In order to investigatewhether the itemswere easy
to understand and clearly formulated, 22 students completed the
instrument twice. Four items were found to be unclear and were,
therefore, deleted. The number of items was 24 after this procedure.
