Cubic AgBiS2 nanoparticles and flowerlike clusters were successfully synthesized by microwave refluxing of CH3COOAg,Bi(NO3)3 5H2O and thiosemicarbazide(NH2NHCSNH2)in ethyleneglycol. The phase was detected byX-raydiffraction(XRD) and selected area electron diffraction(SAED).The SAED pattern was alsoinaccordance with that of the simulation.Scanningand transmission electron microscopy (SEMandTEM) revealedthegradualtransformationofnanoparticlesintoflower-likeclustersby
increasing microwavepower.TheirUV–visibleabsorptionandphotoluminescence(PL)emissionweredetectedbyspectrometry.
