My name is SaksitTinnarad, I completed Bachelor of Science in Oriental Medicine from Rangsit University, Thailand. Analytical chemistry in quality control of herbal products is the field of interest. In 2015, Thailand will be the part of Asean Economic Community (AEC), Chinese language is also the language of this region, to study in China will help me improve my Chinese language, apart from communation, AEC is also abundant of Herbal products, that needs to standardized within AEC and also the world market. Thailand also have very rich of the herbal drug formula in Thai traditional wisdom, the research has been done in many universities and laboratories, but they also needs more and more in various fields of research, especially in the quality control. The herbal products (drug, foods, food supplement, and cosmetics) also need to develop to meet the style of modern living, for example no one boils the herbal drug to drink, but they need ready to drink products. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has beenvery long 4,000 years of history and their development will be the prototype for Thailand. The qualify experts in the field of herbal quality control will be important persons that speed up inter-boarder trade. I know from the university ranking that Guangxi Normal University (GXNU) has the rank of 155 in List of top Colleges and Universities in China by University Web Ranking, and GXNU also closed to my hometown (Chiangrai province ), and GXNU also has the master degree in Analytical Chemistry program in the faculty of Chemical industry.This curriculum will give me the knowledge and the skills in the area of analytical chemistry.
To fulfil my aim to be the researcher in herbal quality evaluation with Chinese language ability to serve the needs of this region, I would like to apply to the above mentioned program at GXNU. I will use my best effort to complete the study program, and after complete the Master degree I will go back to be a lecturer and researcher in the area of herbal product development.
