2.2. Data analyses
Several brachyuran sequences were obtained from the GenBank public sequence database and together with the obtained DNA Barcoding and authentication sequences were used as an in group in a phylogenetic analysis. The anomuran Emerita analoga was used to root the phylogenetic tree (GenBank accession number GU443275). For each kind of sequence (haplotypes with less of 5% of differentiation) found in the authentication (AeG) a consensus sequence was generated in order to decrease the amount of units in the phylogenetic analysis. In the same way, for each barcoded species a consensus sequence was generated for phylogenetic analysis.Phylogenetic analysis was performed using Maximum Likelihood (ML) with Modeltest (Posada & Crandall, 1998) to determine the molecular model that better adjusts to the data for ML analysis,as implemented in the PAUP 4.0b10 plugin for Geneious Pro 5.1.7 (Biomatters Ltd.). In order to determine the support that the data gives to the nodes of the phylogenetic hypothesis generated,a bootstrap with 10,000 heuristic searches was performed also using the PAUP 4.0b10 plugin for Geneious Pro.
