•Kami-inhabited objects may be repeatedly wrapped in cloth as a sign of veneration.
•Japan has around 80,000 Shinto shrines, and roughly the same number of Shinto priests, who perform rituals at the shrines.
•Another place for venerating kami / gods is the household altar. On the altar one will see an object that the kami inhabit—a stone, mirror, jewel, etc.
