SPOUSE/GUEST TRAVEL AND EXPENSES
In certain special situations, it is in the Company’s best interest for spouses/guests to accompany employees on business trips. To qualify for reimbursement of additional expenses incurred by a spouse/guest, the employee must be aware of the following guidelines:
For situations where spouse travel is contained to the Asia Pacific, spouse/guest names and the reason for their participation must be entered on the travel request form and prior written approval authorizing spouse/guest travel at Company expense is required. Approval may be in the form of a letter/invitation/email, signed by the Regional President.
All policies for employee travel equally pertain to the spouse/guest.
Expense reports containing spouse/guest travel costs will not be processed unless the approved Travel Request Form and letter/invitation/email is attached.
Generally, the coverage provided to employees under the ACE Corporate Insurance program will not extend to spouse/guest travel. Exceptions may exist based on specific circumstances and subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policy(ies).
