Siam Park belongs to the Loro Parque group, high standards of technical installations are key features in all their ventures. Naturally Siam Park follows this concept and above all is designed to respect the environment using the latest technological developments. So for example the water for the park feeds from the sea into a special reservoir where it is then desalinated and heated to 25º before feeding up to 600 cubed metres of water into the attractions every day. Water is then recycled afterwards to water the plants and keep the gardens healthy.Siam Parks energy comes from the first natural gas system to be installed in the Canaries, which was specially chosen because of its reduced carbon emissions. Minimising the impact on the environment is one of the key aims of the park, and this natural gas system uses the cleanest energy source possible. Therefore, Siam Park and Loro Parque are dedicated to the development of sources in Tenerife for improving renewable and non contaminated energy by financially contributing to the SOLTEN II group. They are currently working on a new project in the south of the island which will increase renewable energy from 756kw to 2.035kw.In the immediate future Loro Parque plans to expand its solar plant with 20 generator of 100 kz c.u. to optimize the production of renewable electronic energy.
