There are several reasons why we
should not eat too much meat. The first
reason is that although meat contains high
protein which helps build muscles and gives
energy to our body, some meat also has a
lot of saturated fat. Eating too much
saturated fat can be harmful to our health
because it leads to high levels of cholesterol
in the blood. Therefore, it is better to get
good protein and unsaturated fat from
healthier food such as nuts and tofu.
Another reason why we should avoid eating
meat is that animal products have been
contaminated by some dangerous chemicals
such as Potassium Nitrate, Borax, and
Salbutamol. These chemicals are very
dangerous and cause serious diseases
especially cancer. If we eat meat too much,
we will unexpectedly consume these
chemicals. As a result, we may get sick. To
sum up, due to some disadvantages of
consuming meat, we ought to try to change
our eating habit in order to stay healthy.
