Regarding to this issue, after investigation with our staff Ms.Nantida, she said that she used to inform your member in the past (but not sure when) to avoid this kind of mistake, but it seems no improvement from the airline, so by this reason of origin mistake, Cnee won’t be able to accept this cost, that’s why we had to charge to your good office instead.
As said below, these kind of mistake were not caused only the HAWB mentioned but also the Manifest Data which Airline submitted to the customs system in destination were also important, and we couldn’t know until we received D/O from Terminal and found such mistake. That was why we couldn’t remind your team to amend because of too late.
By the way, just for your information, we also have the similar case of mistake ex BKK to CGK, if such kind of mistake is caused by BKK side, we have to be responsible without charging to shipper or Cnee at all. And the penalty from CGK is more than this, it’s around USD220.00/HAWB which we need to accept.
So we need your support on this issue to prevent this kind of mistake again in the future.
