At the end of 4 weeks of storage, four
replicates of eight fruit (a total of 32 fruit)
per treatment with complete randomization
were used for determination of firmness and
titratable acidity. Fruit were cut through the
equatorial plane, and the penetration force
(N) of the exocarp and endocarp was measured
by the method of Holt (Holt, 1970)
