The increasing sensitivity to settings leads to a concern with how interactions
are embodied within those settings [25].
AR has been adopted for mobile applications that can continuously change the contents of a
setting according to the ever-changing context in the environment [26–29].
The smart phone is a powerful mobile AR platform enabling the embodied interaction throughout the physical and virtual environments[11,30,31].
Embodied interaction emphasizes the formative role of the environment in the development of cognitive processes when a tightly coupled system emerges from real-time interactions between
people and their environment.
The AR mobile platform can provide new media services in a real context through the embodiment.
The interaction with the service is not only virtual but also real to the users, thus
stimulating users' participation in creating collectively generated information.
The move towards embodiment can be connected to the notion of the collective intelligence as the network of relationships among individuals and the external world.
