Dear writer,
(I have no Thai keyboard nor knowing how to type without one)
I've left Thailand since I was 13 to Australia. At the age of 22 I moved to Canada and now I am 27. Life abroad has made myself realized how Thailand is a much better country than many other countries in many ways, but of course, we are not perfect. I am proud being a Thai person. I can be sure of this, no matter where you go, if people know you are from Thailand, They love you. As our root culture is made of kindness, friendly, and sympathy.
I do not plan to go back to Thailand anytime soon for 3 reasons:
1) Thailand was never the same since the day I left.
2) I'm building my lifยิ้ม in Canada to improve Thai communities in the future and hopefully, having my farm to die there.
3) Once you have been in several countries for so many years, you will know that you do not have a "home". Everywhere is your home. It's not about loyalty, you realize that you belong to the earth, not the country.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
RS.
