This is one of the "hidden gems" of Longview. Even though I've moved away from SW Washington and am living in SoCal, I have my parents send me the soaps from here.
Initially, my family discovered The Soap Factory from a freebie coupon in The Daily News that was designed to attract people to local businesses. My Mom tried the soap, she was hooked, I tried it, I was hooked, and then my Dad tried it too. His only request was for a less "girly" scented soap. Which we got him. We all have our favorite scents-- Mom's is Sweet Baby Angel, a light, baby powdery fragrance, mine are mostly herbal scented, lavender and rose, and Dad's are fragrances like Kentucky Bluegrass, which is reminiscent of Irish Spring soap.
We've all been coming here since. In addition to extremely gentle soaps, Dawn (the owner) stocks a wide variety of purses, ceramics, and jewelry.
