Foliar protein content decreased under all the treatments with
maximum decrease under ACO2+ EO3 at both the ages of
sampling compared to ACO2+ RO3(Fig. 3). At 60 DAE, recorded
decrease in protein content was 13.9 and 9.58% under ECO2+ AO3
and ECO2+ EO3, respectively compared to ACO2+ AO3 and 38.6
and 9.6% under ACO2+ EO3 and ACO2+ AO3, respectively compared to ACO2. Total phenolics increased under ECO2+ AO3and
ECO2+ EO3at 30 DAE, but decreased under ECO2+ EO3at 60 DAE
compared to ACO2+ AO3(Fig. 3). Significant reductions in total
phenolics were recorded under ACO2+ EO3and ACO2+ AO3at both
the ages compared to ACO2+ RO3. Variations in protein and
phenolics contents were highly significant due to all the
individual factors and their interactions except due to age CO2
for protein (Table 1).
