When we say girls, we mean IGOT7. It’s been a long time since our eyes went wide at the level of screaming we’ve heard at an event. Us hapless media were stunned – to say the least – once the lights dimmed at 7.01pm (brownie points to GOT7 for being one of the most timely idols as well).
The fans’ cheering somehow managed to sustain and even grow in volume as the night went by, with fan chants and sing-a-longs also managing to be distinctively heard even above the speakers.
During the press conference, the boys quipped that they find fans from warmer countries extremely passionate – something that their fans most definitely lived up to last night.
One prime example would be when the boys went backstage and the music videos for ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ and ‘A’ played on the big screens. The cheers didn’t subside and fans even sang along to the tunes – a phenomenon that surprised us as these little video breaks that usually occur during concerts also act as chances for the fans to take a rest. Instead, they took it as an opportunity to rev themselves up even more. With this level of support, we’re sure that they will be able to return to our sunny shores really soon. Thumbs up, Singapore IGOT7.
Now, excuse us while we try to get the ringing out of our ears.
