Firstly, students who are living at home usually are healthier than students who are living in the dormitory. If students live at home, they will have regular life because of home rules. For example, students who are living at home have to go to bed early due to Mother’s moralizing, but students who are living in the dormitory don’t worry about it and always go to bed in midnight due to online chatting or games, etc.
Secondly, there are lower expenses for living at home than living in the dormitory. The rent and living expenses for students living at home are much cheaper than living in dormitory, and we don’t worry about whether the money is enough to be paid when we are living at home. However, we will be able to learn how to manage money well if we are living in the dormitory.
Thirdly, we have different interpersonal relationships between living in the dormitory and living at home. If we live at home, we can spend a lot of time accompanying our family. However, if we live in the dormitory, we will not have a lot of time to talk to our family. When we live in the dormitory, most of our life we get along with roommates.
Lastly, privacy is impossible to have if we live in the dormitory while freedom is much easier to obtain if we live at home. When we live in the dormitory, we have to share a room with roommates and we cannot have personal space. In contrast, we have privacy when we live at home. We don’t worry about whether the roommates invade our privacy.
