This presents little issue if these soils exist in this transient state for a short period of time (e.g. during transformation from Hydraquentic Sulfaquept to Sulfic Hydraquent). However, in several instances these soils have persisted for a number of years. In thesecases, such as at Wally's Landing in the Finness River it would be appropriate to have the ability to classify these soils accurately within Soil Taxonomy.
