the lift-off heights extracted from the simulations are compared to those obtained by solving Eq. (9) for the three expressions retained for UFb,
the characteristic flame base velocity (Eq. 5, 6 and 7,Table 1).
Close to blow-out,
the mixture fraction gradient is weak and the impact of the correction (s) on the flame propagation velocity becomes negligible.
