This is going to be my life-changing year in many ways.
Firstly, I will start my new academic life chapter in the UK. It would be fun and challenging. I am really looking forward to working with my new Professor and colleagues.
But, like a distracting chapter, the doctor have found a tumor called ameloblastoma in my maxilla. I need a big surgical operation to remove and repair. I will lose about 7 teeth and some cheek bone on this, so, doubtlessly, it gave me a lot of fear. Though, I wish it would not happen, but life is always tough and we should reallize that nothing is belonged to us forever. Though I badly want to keep these teeth, but I know they are not belonged to me anymore. In the end, I will have to do my best to recover and retain my opportunity. This would give me a precious lesson about how uncertainty one's life can be and how important of support from family and friends. In the future, whatever problems come across, I know I would not be alone and, most importantly, I would not give up.
Can't wait to see what life will bring me to.
By the way, thank you everyone for your kind birthday wishes.
