The COMMERCIAL-yeast that produced the
highest ethanol concentration was UNICAMP V1 yeast.
The ethanol concentration provided by the UFMG A905
yeast (5.65% (v/v)) was lower than that obtained by
Oliveira et al. (2004) and Silva et al. (2006), who applied the same yeast strain in sugarcane juice (8.7% v/v) and
synthetic medium (8.3% v/v), respectively.
