In the simulation, water temperature immediately is decreased
to 20 C by the next circulation when temperature reaches 45 C. By
contrast, water temperature continues to increase for a certain
period in the experiment because of the control module in the
simulation. Whenwater tank temperature reaches 45 C, tap water
with a temperature of 20 C is automatically supplemented for
approximately 5 mine15 min. Supplementwater could be removed
when water temperature exceedes 45 C.
Variation trends in the experimental results and numerical data
slow down after 3:40 PM. This observation is attributed to the
weakening of solar radiation intensity. Numerical temperature is
lower than experimental temperature toward the end of the actual
outdoor temperature conditions. This result can be attributed to the
effect of actual conditions on ambient temperature.
The overall trends in PV power generation efficiency between
the experimental and simulation results are basically the same, but
