Good morning my teachers and Hi everyone. Let me thank you for coming to my presentation today. My name is Wilawan Khokyasuprom. Welcome everyone to my presentation. Today I would like to share with you information that will help you brains healthy. The topic of my talk today is The Brain benefits from English learning.
The purpose of this talk is to persuade people who are interested in health. This talk is designed by using PowerPoint slide for presentation.
I have divided my presentation into 3 parts. Firstly, I will show you the importance of brains. Secondly, I will present you the importance of studying English. And finally, I will share information you the benefits of speaking English language. I shall only take 5 minutes of you time. After my talk, I spare 2 minutes for you have more questions, I would be glad to answer any question at the end of my presentation.
OK, let’s start with the first point. The brain is very important for the part of body. It’s very important to learning and life. Therefore, the brain is very important to remember the past, present and future planning.
OK, let’s move on the next point. As I said earlier, the brain is the main factor that will allow you to have good idea. In this part of my presentation I would like to share you about English learning contributes to the development of the brain. If you think studying English is a nightmare and your failures in past were horrible, change idea and try to learn English again. Because It is very important for our occupation in the future and we are health leader.
This leads directly to my final point. Do you know the benefits of learning English? OK, let now turn to the next issue. I want to explain the benefits. If you look at the bar chart on the left, you will see that people who speak more than two languages will improve memory than those who speak only mother language. Alzheimer’s can strike anyone, but people who are speaking English language may develop the condition four to five years later than people who only speak one language. Their brains stay sharper in old age and this is true even for people who learned English language later in life, according to a recent study in the Annals of Neurology.
