The security policies are best practices that should be adopted in the card centre in view of the high volume of sensitive data i.e merchant and cardholder information. The aim in developing the policies is to safeguard the staff and the bank and in any event of a breach, they are absolved from wrong doing or accused of conducting unlawful activity.
