Like STAI-S, a time unit was set a week. The average
change amounts of PSS in the control group significantly
decreased by 0Æ72 per time unit. The PSS score for the
experimental group decreased by 0Æ41 per time unit more
than that of the control group, but this difference was not
statistically significant. Women who received relaxation
training did not exhibit a statistically significant decrease in
the PSS scores over time compared with the control group.
Hypothesis 4 was thus rejected based on our results.
