In this paper, the study about properties of piezoelectric–cement composites for the application in civil engineering. By the mixing lead zirconate titanate (PZT) was mixed with cement at 30, 50 and 70% by volume. When increase of electric field value, time and quantity of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) in the system then were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) found that ceramic PZT good compatibility with PC cement, thus led to the increasing of d33 value. Also, it have piezoelectric strain coefficient (d33) and Dielectric constant (ɛr) higher than those of ceramic-polymer composites. Thus, it fits for the application of cement- PZT composites in civil engineering.
