Earthen pot making of Mon-Thai at Tambon Kroh Ket, Nonthaburi Province was a long tradition of the Mon people who settled there. It was believed that earthen pot making was taken up as an occupation due to Kroh Ket's good clay quality. Kroh Ket's Earthenware varies in size, shape as well as decoration from simple design to elaborate one such as water jar, bowl, mortar, and pot. The government has recognized Kroh Ket's earthenware heritage by selecting graceful earthen water jar as Nonthaburi's logo to show to the world that this province produces one of the finest earthenware in Thailand.
