I never received any human resource assistance since I’ve worked in Thailand and even if someday I would, I guess it will always come with a price.
13. Do you have any suggestion on what kind of organizational help you wish you could have?
I hope there is one body that will represent the foreigners in the Thai parliament so we can also air our grievances or suggestions as to our living and working conditions in the kingdom. It will be mutually beneficial to us and the locals if we are treated and compensated accordingly regardless of our race and country of origin.
14. Did you receive any training before coming to Thailand or while you’re already here in Thailand?
I am a degree holder. I finished Bachelor of Secondary Education and I did it with flying colors. I had 4.0 grade-point-averages in all my subjects in the university even in the national board examination for teachers. Aside from this, I am a trained writer in English publications and a musician (amateur).
I had to take a Thai culture seminar which didn’t really helped me in any way but I still had to because that’s the only way I can get a permanent teaching license in the kingdom.
