The
calibration curve was obtained with pure oryzanol in a concentration
range of 4–56 mg/L. In this concentration range the absorption
obeys Beer’s law and the calibration curve obtained at k316 is a
straight line passing through the origin (R2 = 0.9954), and the
slope represents the specific extinction coefficient (E(316 nm) =
(36.840.28) g1 L cm1
).
