crisis-hit destinations would welcome crisis management. Would
guests who stay at different types of accommodation place
different importance on safety measures in the event of a tsunami?
While the provision of an evacuation warning system and the
preparation of a crisis management plan are important parts of risk
management to minimize the negative effect at and after the
occurrence of a disaster, there is no consensus whether or not these
two measures would contribute to the overall beach safety during
