Notes We are looking to fill a vacancy for 35 hours per week in the post of Domestic/Laundry Assistant for an initial duration of 6 months, however this may well be extended. This post is to work as part of a small, efficient team who ensure the Nursing Home Residents rooms and communal rooms are cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard as well as working at times in the homes laundry to ensure Residents clothes, towels and linen are laundered as required. Some background in commercial or communal cleaning would be an advantage although full induction and initial training will be offered as well as ongoing access to many additional training courses. As well as looking for a person with the suitable skills to work in this role, equally important is the persons attitude towards others and willingness to interact with our Residents and the existing staff group. This post does require some weekend and bank holiday working on a rotational basis. Salary - £7.85 per hour Mon–Fri, £8.85 per hour Sat- Sun.
