Both features are within the straight baselines which enclose all the Indonesian islands and major parts of the Australian coast. Lying between these straight baselines are the islands called Adele, Browse, Ashmore, and Cartier, and Scott and Seringpatam reefs which bear either rocks or tiny islets. All these features belong to Australia and that sovereignty is not disputed by Indonesia.
