Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to construct a model for developing learning management competency of new teachers at general education private schools. The research procedure followed three steps: 1) to study learning management competency and guidelines for the development by analyzing and synthesizing concepts and the theories through relevant documents and research from the best practice schools by interviewing 12 experts 2) to draft a model for developing learning management competency of new teachers at general education private schools by checking its appropriateness through focus group discussion among 15 educational supervision experts 3) to evaluate the feasibility of the drafted model by the sample of 80 school principals and teachers ; data were analyzed, using means and standard deviations.
1. The study of learning management competency of new teachers at general education private schools found five components: 1) the first component : objectives of the development 2) the second component : guidelines of the development 3) the third component : learning management competency 4) the forth component : principles of learning management competency and 5) the fifth component : conditions for the achievements.
2. The experts concurring in their opinions on the appropriateness of the model found that the learning management competency consisted of three components:1) learning management competency of new teachers 2) Developing learning management competency, 3) conditions for the achievements.
3. The evaluation of the feasibility of the model for learning management competency of new teachers at general education private schools as a whole was at a high level.
