Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded
that dietary supplementation with VC (250 mg/kg of diet)
and WC (5 g/kg of diet) increased FI and BWG of broiler
chickens under heat stress. However, inclusion of VC also
improved feed efficiency, which is in contrast to WC.
Therefore, dietary supplementation with 250 mg/kg of VC
is superior to 5 g/kg of WC. Nevertheless, WC can be
practically recommended as a useful growth promoter in
the diet of broiler chickens under heat stress conditions.
