hour of the day, which are determined from measured data of
the whole year. The corresponding Standard Deviations (SDs)
reveal that the wind at a particular hour of the day may change
along different seasons of the year. Unlike site S3, it can be
observed that the hourly mean wind speed keeps increasing during
the day at sites S1 and S2 from the morning to the late evening.
After that, the wind blows weakly in the morning again. This useful
information indicates an expectation of high power generation
from wind in the nighttime. It can be recommended that other
types of renewable energy such as solar energy [6] may be added
to fulfill the requirement of power generation in the daytime for
