In Egg Angels: Cocotama, Kokoro, a sweet but shy 11-year-old girl, discovers that objects she has deeply cherished such as a pencil, a book, a piano, etc. start producing little angels called “Cocotama.” Kokoromakes a pact with the little fairies and builds a small house for them, using objects that are considered trash, like old kitchen utensils and stationery items. Their presence must be hidden from other people in her family and at school, and that always puts her in awkward situations. If discovered, her miniscule friends will have to disappear into thin air.
Hatched from little eggs, these colorful angels will teach our children the value of things we tend to forget in our over-consuming life. Nothing can be thrown away mindlessly if you remember that everything is made by someone who puts a lot of love in its making.
