Survey respondents included 980 from medical schools and 916 from non-medical universities. Around 32% of respondents were in their first year, with 25%, 20%, 19% and 3% in their second, third, fourth and fifth years, respectively. Gender distribution was 60.5% male, 39.5% female, with no significant difference between medical and non-medical students. Ages ranged from 16 to 30 years. The mean ages [standard deviation (SD)] for medical and non-medical students were 20.6 years (1.5) and 20.5 years (1.6), respectively.
